Pat Rossi was born and raised in Rhode Island. She fell in love with reading at an incredibly early age and started writing poetry and short stories at age ten. She was the editor of her high school literary magazine and her college dorm newspaper. Writing became a healing tool throughout her life. Her poetry has been known to make people laugh, cry, gasp, blush, and procreate! Pat has shared her poetry in many places, including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Arizona, and North Carolina. She considers The Lizard Lounge her poetry home and favorite creative space.

In addition to reading and writing, Pat loves spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories. She is a self-proclaimed beach bum. When she is not working as a teacher assistant with autistic children, or with her family, you can find her at the beach with her journal, a book, and crochet bag. When the ever-changing New England weather is not conducive to the beach, Pat can often be found in her kitchen whipping up something delicious! If you have not tasted her legendary pasta alla vodka, lemon cake with lemon cream cheese frosting, or apple pie, you might want to invite yourself to dinner! Some say her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are the absolute best because they are made with the perfect amount of love!
